Lightly whispering in her mind (The poetic Inner voice sings) It’s soft caressing voice can be heard lightly appearing out of the darkness; falling among the trees. As she, the poet bares her soul With rhythm and melody painting upon her tarnished white canvas. A paper moon illumination settles in as darkness falls. Voice and vision provoke thought By the rhyme left in blotted- ink traces. Chimes sing tinkle, ting in gently spoken response to a light breeze. Harmony soars inside her mind (In pure oblivion) She sits mysteriously held in her silent realm. (Fervent strokes calligraphy spoke) Wooden deck creaks with every rock of an old chair while body language; words move in reaction to the thoughts flying from fevered hand Nothing exists but nature and a woman transfixed in time. Her lyrics beg to be sung. Dusk becomes dawn Silently she stretches in perfect contentment; spent. Her words have been sung. In eloquent grace she has left a trace by the pen. Kim, Your poem is full of haiku. That's a good thing, BTW. Here's a good example: Chimes sing tinkle, ting in gently spoken response to a light breeze. Great stuff... ~Gene |

Absolutely beautiful. Vivid in it's description. A picture unfolding gracefully as the reader is gently lead with your words. "words move in reaction to the thoughts flying from fevered hand." I too look forward to reading more of your work. |
