Have you ever had that friend? You know the one. The one who can look in your eyes, And know that something is wrong, Although, you won't admit it, Even when you're wearing your best, "Nothings wrong", smile. The one who will pry just enough, When you want them to, But, will stand back in the shadows, When you need to be alone. And won't say a word when you beg, Desperately for advice, Then do exactly the opposite. Have you ever had that friend? You know the one. The one who wouldn't trade you, For anything in the world. The one who loves you for you, The one who sits and listens, To the same story 10 times, And still doesn't say a word, Just pretends like it's the first time? The one who will ask you how you are, Then will wait patiently while you answer, Even if it's a 20 minute story, You could have told in 2 minutes, Without all the embellishments.
