Visit the mind
of a poet.
The imaginations
of the one
whose words spill
upon the page,
softly
as wings of whispered
songs,
floating and transparent,
startling and profound,
awakening
sleeping muses.

Thus they convey
a heart afire
or
transpose a broken
one
to oceans depths
of passions.
Washing shores
with clensing
kiss.

Words winging heights,
soaring above
the mundane,
into the ethereal,
to be transformed
into wonders
beyond
the written word.
For...
this pen, these words..

Live!

They are born
of creations
of the poetic mind.
Nourished
at the breast
of a thirsty world,
in need
of passion,
and hope.

So come,
drink at this
fountain
of poetic dreams.

These words
come alive,
and breath
hope
into the soul
and weave
their way
into the heart
and mind,
only then
transforming
a dream,
to
renew the universe.

How utter erethial,and majestically magical
your words flow down on our appreciative ears, dear Ellie.
Ah here is one who knows her subject well, as well as the art, the soul, and the well of creative ink, which comes alive on the page.
Well done, Our Beloved Sister Poetess!!

Lovely, Ellie!  Oh, that we might be able to live up to this!

Ellie,
Ahhhh, the mind of a poet! What others see as black and white the poet sees in a spectrum of colors, emotions, and sounds which can haunt, heal and perplex the the open mind. Nice treatise on the complexities of a poets mind.

I agree with Dennis here Ellie...as you have illustrated, it is up to the poet to awaken the rest of the world to the beauty they forget every day!  Wonderful poetry here!  I loved it!
