Chains that bind
So many dreams that seem tied
Butterfly wings that will fly
Hope that floats
Darkness can not blind
Cold harts
And lonely hands
Warmth will come again
Look to the future
Holding on to the past
Strength that fails
Weakness grows
Rebuild

I am not always lonely even if I am always alone

Almost like a cycle isn't it? Life that is. Destruction, you rebuild, hope flourishes, and then destruction again. Enjoyed your poem, religh.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Thank you both for reading.

I see life a series of peeks and vallys,
if was not for the vallys we would not notice the peeks.(or at least i try to see it that)

I am not always lonely even if I am always alone

yup, i enjoyed your sentiments..life indeed has its peaks and valleys..even at its peaks, we have to steady ourselves in preparation for the fall...
