I liked this, Alicia..it has a nice flow to it..and so true..lost loves do leave pieces of themselves behind that just seem to hang around forever.

this is a grate piece of work
it not only showed the sorrow of parting ways but also the feeling of the bond that is left betwen two people after they part

I believe that the pieces of our past make up who we are...Every person that touches our lives leaves their impression upon us..you expressed that so well here. wonderfully done.

I agree with Bestgirl, I think who we are and how we live our lives is in part due to the impact that others have had on us. In turn, the "Pieces" of ourselves that we leave behind will have an effect on others!
