Here's one more poem to finish off today...

I take it all the others are okay?

Little dragon on a podium
Purple scales, yet white as sodium
Face pure white with pure stage fright,
In the online auditorium.

Little dragon up there tonight
To say thanks to everyone, despite
The fact that they were all thanking him--
My, he thought, what a crazy whim,
I'm just doing my job!

Little dragon takes a bow
Stands up straight, then shouts aloud
"Thanks so much, to all out there,
For replies and poems that you share."

Little dragon says goodnight,
Walks offstage, out of limelight
Wondering where tomorrow will lead,
And which new poet a welcome will need.

You know I don't believe in having dragons for pets...but I must say that YOU sir will have to stay here for a long time...what would the Pub be without you....and you'll loose that shyness soon..

Fred Hobbs said something about the winter raging outside...well, being able to breathe fire comes in handy sometimes, and I've decided to try and make this place a little warmer!
