This coming New Year,
my wish for you,
all my dear poet
friends,
here in the Pub....

"Wonder and Hope"

May your spirits,
hearts, and pens,
be filled with childlike
wonder.
May hope fill you
with all the joy
of things to come.

"Enthusiasm"

May you feel
a new passion
for
all the beauty
that surrounds you!

"Gratitude"

No heart is happier
then
when it is full of
thankfulness.

"Love"

That your eyes and hearts
be open to receive,
all the love
God sends your way.

"Peace"

May your soul
be at peace
with the universe.

So.....
at midnight,
when the Fairy Queen
spreads her most powerful
Fairy dust.....
Believe!
and you too will feel
magical.
Even when troubles come,
they shall not touch
your heart,
for it will remain encased
in Fairy Dust!

What beautiful wishes, Ellie!  The same to you and more.  I love the idea of hearts "encased in fairy dust" as a shield against trouble.  Yours must certainly be so-touched.  Happy New Year!

Thank you Ellie!  For providing me this magical portal into the New Year!  Goodness...I'm living through the turn of the century--weird thought!  Something to tell the Grandkids, I guess!

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Thank you dear Ellie,
Yes, I will need all the fairy dust you can spare, LOL. Nice poem!
