I sit astride Some sort of intellectual high horse, Concerning myself with society's business, While the next guy wonders If he remembered to turn the oven off. Where do I get off Worrying about Fate and Choice? Why do I care If my life is predestined Or if there's a God, And if so, What's He/She/It like? Since when is it my business? But ellie, I didn't make a concious choice to grow, it just slip up on me...lol. gofor, well express thoughts, sometimes, I too, wish these deep thoughts of mine would just leave me alone...but, I have never felt as alive, as I have been feeling in past year. Our words/thoughts are a double-edged sword...it hurts so good...LOL "Come...dance with me, into my world of words." |

 Come on now, gofor! Would you really give up the "deep thoughts"? Yes, they can be troubling, but they also make life interesting, and as Ellie said, they bring growth. i related well to this piece..have you heard of the show "friends"?it never ceases to amaze me how simple-minded Joey and Phoebe can be and how contentedly happy they are in their small worlds... i dont think i am that deep but then i will like to think that i am not that simple-minded...honestly speaking, sometimes i think i think too much for my own good  [This message has been edited by kaile (edited 01-02-2001).] |
