I'm having an ice holiday The white stuff we ordered unseen, So someone changed up our order Now I think that was kinda' mean! They said, "Have a Nice Christmas!" Well, someone didn't quite understand, So we are having an ice holiday And it's just about all we can stand! There's ice on all the roadways And ice out in the yard, I'm having an ice Christmas Holidaze And here that's not really too hard! I'm iced in here at the in-laws Not telling how long I must stay, And were really having an ice time-- So cool, like it is always! So go the winter holidays As I've known once or twice, They may not be all we expected-- But folks, it's sure been ice!!! Happy Holidays! |

Ice storms are the worst. I feel for you all who are having to deal with this. If I had my druthers, I'd rather have snow, but only if I had to choose. Summer is looking awfully attractive right now! Clever poem, David! Denise |
