Santa is gently kneeling,
A bag of toys at his side,
He's peering into the manger,
His tears he couldn't hide.
The sweetest scene of Christmas,
As he clasps his hands to pray,
Bringing the best of the season,
Together on Christmas day.

Some people think that Santa and Jesus don't mix. I disagree. After reading poems like this, I think that anyone would.

I saw this very scene depicted in the yard of
a California home some 14 years ago.
It is indeed a moment to remember.

I have some lovely scenes of Christmas
in the archives of some Open's.
I don't like to repost -
but I just might have to pull a piece or two
out for this season.
