I know joy once again.
There has been a perpetual smile on my lips
Ever since last night.
My thoughts are constantly turning to you,
And I can't concentrate
With all this bliss running around in my head.
I no longer need to mourn my life,
But can celebrate it now.
On this day I have been redeemed

Yeah, this is the kind of joy one experiences when one gets their first date in two and a half years. Needless to say, I almost very literally WAS smiling on a constant basis all weekend...not that I minded.
