That night with Nessie did we spend. Safe from the banshee's might. All about her homey cave, The Fae shone clear and bright. I puffed my pipe,I laughed, I sang. Content by the Guardian of Loch Ness. I watched as Squatch was dancing, with Lady in her tartan dress. Bunny and Fairies traded tales, Of the past Two thousand years. And then....with little fanfare The Lady Destiny appeared. She perched upon my shoulder, Her smile plain to see. " I see you got my message." she grinned... " And how are you Nessie?" " Oh Des!" she cried " I'm happy!" " For so long I've been blue." " What a way to have a birthday!" " Sol and Squatch to my rescue!" 'It's your birthday? ' I remarked. Nessie nodded happily. " Today I am four thousand two!" " No, wait! Four thousand three!!" Then all the fairies hushed. And wide grew Nessies eyes.. As the King and Queen of Atlantis, From the water did they did rise. " Good Guardian of Atlantis!" " Sweet Sentinel of Loch Ness!" " We've come to help all celebrate!" " And your name we both do bless!" A mighty cheer went up that night. From Nessie's homey cave. Many 'thankyous' were exchanged By all of those now saved. And high above us on the Loch... Some fishermen with good ears... Blinked and marveled at the sound... Of our Happy Birthday cheers...... |

You know how much I adore these wonderful tales. Thanks for letting all of us read such imaginative stories. I loved them all!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
