Once you passed judgement
On what I do not believe
Have you learned yet
How to accept me for me?

I'm still a human, last I saw
I laugh, I anger, I cry
All endearing human qualitys
I'm your best friend, or worst enemy

I breathe, I see, I hear and smell
My heart beats quick or slow
I sweat and shiver depending on
If the suns out, or if it snows

I dance and run and walk
Sit down quietly to think
Read and write and like to talk
The same type of things you did last week

I do all of the things you do
Like shower and sleep
Even a couple times a day
I make time to stop and eat

So, if I'm not a human
Not worthy of my life to live
((All because of my beliefs))
Tell me, how would you label me?

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.
