Skeleton trees line the horizen
Frost lays on brittle grass
Yellows, browns, shades of red
Memory of life fades to the past

Haunting winds whisper secrets
No one alive can hear
The coldness of their fingers
Chill to the bone, when brushing an ear

Rain falls from the heavens
Reminders of tears locked within
Ehoing like many heart-beats
That used to come from my friend

Clouds form blocking out the sun
Shades of grey line the sky
Lonely birds sing mournfully
A lot has changed since he died.

         ~In Memory of Josh~

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Beautifully written, but oh so sad. I'm sorry about your friend.  Ellie
