Through my mind I see the life we had of past. Times of love and caring that weren't meant to last. I see your image clearly and the smile you used to wear. No matter how much time goes by, I know I'll always care. I see the times we shared; the life we had together. I'll cherish every moment of it from now until forever. The years we gave to one another flew by so terribly fast. Now our dreams are crystalized and have become reflections of the past. |

This is kind of sad, but a great poem nonetheless. You write so well! Little Spyro T. Dragon |

If we can't keep cherished ones in hand, at least by the wonderful ability of memeory we can keep them in heart and mind. Such can both sadden and soothe. I like your poem friend, care care, David "Our Creativity points to a Higher Creator--we couldn't have just happened, and for what ability we may possess--to God be the glory." -dlw- |

~sas this touched my heart! this poem really spoke to me, because i too have some of these familiar memories/thoughts of someone who was once a huge important part of my life. this poem spoke of sadness but also spoke of more. i got the feeling that memories have helped to console you...at least i hope that is the case. they have for me. please take care and keep writing inspiring poetry such as this. amy ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |
