Fairy Wonder At Thanksgiving |

Once upon a time, < !signature-->a small child wept. sitting alone and forlorn on the back steps. When out of the corner of her eye, something sparkled, and a small melodic voice said... "tell me what troubles you". In childlike wonder, as the tears disappeared, she told the beautiful little fairy her woes. "you see, today is thanksgiving, and my mother is angry, because she has too mich cooking to do. My father is yelling at the tv, because his team is loosing. My bothers are just always fighting. It's terrible". The fairy said.... "How about I sit on your shoulder and we go in together for thanksgiving dinner". Oh, would you , please", said the child. So, as she sat down, silence filled the room and utter astonishment was seen on every face. The enchanting fairy then danced on the table, spreading fairy dust everywhere! It was just enough magic, to make them all smile. The small child then said a thanksgiving prayer... "We are all thankful, God, for this family and this food". The family joined her, in prayer. Sometimes, God uses fairies to open our eyes to His gifts and His Love.... If you believe! Belief is a truth held in the mind; faith is a fire in the heart. Ah, ellie! You have given us another fairy tale to be thankful for. Thanks for the smile. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

A wonderful thanksgiving tale......great read!!! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

Ellie~ Well ... I'm gonna have a hard time explaining to my family why I'm giggling at blessing time on Thanksgiving Day ! As they close their eyes for the offering - I'm SURE I'll have one eye open - peeking for the fairy ! Delightful ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

This is so sweet, I'll be thinking of your fairy when I sit down with my family on Thanksgiving! |
