I have a wall around my heart, It stands so firm and just, No one allowed to share my soul, For, no one does it trust. The wall didn't always stand here, The doors had once, been opened. I trust with my fragile heart, And now it has been broken. So, please don't say you love me, I've heard it all before. My love said it to me once, Then walked right out the door. But, if by chance you tell me, You'll have to prove it's true, For, the words don't mean a thing, If I can't see the love in you. |

You are so right, if you love me, don't tell me, prove it! It's hard not to be skeptical if you've been hurt in the past isn't it? Marge is right though, you have to take a chance if even it's painful. |
