Ah, yes, the politician 'quotes'. It's amazing that they even bother, as they always come back to haunt them later. But then they just rationalize why they aren't fulfilling what was promised. Do they really think people believe them? Perhaps they just don't really care whether they are believed or not after the election. Good poem, Jon! Denise |
