this is for BWA...for similar taste in tea for Bestgirl911 and Lady Noggins....who weather they kow it or not...helped craft the images in my mind... and especially for Rebecca...whose way with words is so opposite of mine....which at times...has made me laugh....and cry...wondering what exactly she's feeling.... Sol The God of Poetry and I sat to chit-chat for a while see, I longed for cheap improvement, thought I'd mooch off of His style " So how do you like this world of Mine?" was His question posed to me and after a sip of honeyed mint, I let my tongue run free I talked of rings, and secret things and barbed wire birdies in the sky He sat in place, and watched my face and would smile once in a while I talked of love, of friend and foe prattled on 'bout dark and light of how the sky mates with the sea beneath a sunset bright I rhymed and chanted, omn and on of every colored hue, of time and space, and cruel two-faced people that I 'knew' Endless I narrated the coming of the dawn and how the dew on spider's web held the captive wide-eyed fawn And when , at last, my words were gone and the tea and cookies too with smiling face, and a touch of grace He said " Thanks, I like it too." |

This almost had the style of a ballad, I really enjoyed this one. "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey."" Laurie Lee Kathleen |

I liked the topic of this poem. I thought it was a very creative poem and a much appreciated read. "I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust." I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

This is truly an enjoyable read, Sol. I can imagine God's reacting in just such a way as we prattle on about what He already knows. I'd like to have been sitting at that table listening. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |
