Our love
was warm as the sun

Our love
was endless as the sea

Our love
was brilliant as a shooting star

Our love
was soothing to my soul

Our love
was music to my ears

Our love
was spectacular like a rainbow

Our love
was filled with tender moments

Our love
was sent from the heavens

Our love
was magnificent in its time

LoneWolf~
How very, very lovely.

'Our love
was magnificent in its time'

To have known that love
and recognize it's significance is awesome.

LW - sad yes... the repetition is well done - kind of slams home the repetitive feeling of... pain.

Well done, there are plenty of metaphors used here. I like the way you use imagery to show us what you mean.
