she tries so hard to do what's best she loves her with her every breath but she never planned on doing this alone all day she works no time for rest she gives until there's nothing left though she never planned on doing this alone he stops over now and then 'plays daddy' and then he's gone again leaving her to keep on doing this alone in dark of night you'll hear her cry as fragile pieces of her die 'cause she never planned on doing this alone but with the sunrise comes the light her little angel hugs her tight and reminds her that she's really not alone  -vlraynes "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truely met the poet." -vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (edited 10-11-2000).] |

That is so wonderful...all to often people forget what they are doing it for....but you said it all. You could have the worst day and one of those hugs just takes it all away. Vicky, this is as beautiful as your golden heart. You honor your friendship with her just in the thought you offer but to attach that to a poem as lovely as this makes you that one special friend that everyone needs and she has that in you. |
