Softly, sound of waves splashing, broken only by haunting call of loon. ~ Solitary loon his mournful, echoing cry searching for his mate repeats his plantative call haunting my waking moments. ~ There! a silent loon gracefully swimming .... now gone diving for his meal. What better way to become immortal than to wake up each day and write? Ray Bradbury |

It sounds as if you have found your peace and quiet after all! I enjoyed this, and also love loons. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Joannak, Beautiful poetry collection about the loon, a delightful subject for a haiku/tanka. Good imagery used here. Dennis :^) Moonbeams radiate When the veiling cloud has passed Playful shadows dance Dennis L. White :^) |
