There's music playing
Like a soft whisper on the wind
And dancing in circles
Are all of the people around us
Once in a while,
I'm put into the arms
Of someone new,
Whose job it is to lead
In this dance of the world.

But everytime the music changes
And the parteners switch around
I'm following dance steps
I've yet to learn
And remain lost,
Trying to figure out
All the new steps
Before the music starts over
In this dance of the world.

So if we become parteners
Dancing, quietly through the night
The please forgive my cluminess
And catch me if I stumble
I'll follow the best I can
In the steps you make
But I haven't had any lessons
And I'm still trying to catch on
In this dance of the world.

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

This is an enjoyable read, Angel, but maybe you should consider dancing your own dance, and perhaps you'll find someone whose dance works with yours.

To love another person is to see the face of God.

Wonderfully said.  I myself have two left feet in this life, I guess we just keep on dancing.
