Maury and Hank sat watching, Old Sam, and Bob and Flo, What were those three frogs up to? This, they didn't know. Across the swamp a neon sign, Kept flashing lime green light, Those frogs were up to something, And it didn't seem quite right. The lizards, Hank and Maury, Kept their eyes on Bob and Sam Flo disappeared into the bar, It must be some kind of scam. Sam and Bob started croaking, They sounded thirsty, in need of a drink, But Hank and Maury were a little dry too, And they each gave a lizard eyed wink. Crawling over a fallen tree, They snuck up behind those two frogs, Just as Flo came out the door, And started jumping over slimy old logs. She carefully carried a tray with three cans, But the lizards wanted the beer, Just then old Sam heard them, And gave them a nasty ol' sneer. Suddenly Flo snapped out with her tounge, Hitting Maury in the head, He slowly rolled over on his back, And poor Hank thought he was dead. But, when Bob and Sam came over, Maury lashed out with his tail, Hank crept over and grabbed the beer, From Flo who was eating a snail. The lizards emptied the three cans, And crawled off to get some sleep, Sam and Bob went over to Flo, And told her to go take a leap. So the next time you see two lizards, Or three innocent looking frogs, Remember the story of this night, And the tale of the pub in the bog. This is very clever! A nice laugh before I hop off to my lily pad. A sad tale (tail?), well told. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Thank You BSC for adding to the story of the 3 lush green croakers. It was fun writting about them and more fun reading about them too, by someone else. Thanks for your contribution to the soggy saga.(Ü)(Ü)(Ü) [This message has been edited by WEEBEE3 (edited 10-05-2000).] |
