They say you should paint your restaurant red Cause it makes you want to eat. And waving around that little white flag Signals your retreat. The say that girls who dress in pink Are as sweet as sweet can be. And if you surround your self with the colour blue you`ll be feeling relaxed and free. They say that if you wear lots of orange You`re bound to steal the show. But if you just want to blend right in Then black`s the way to go. They that if you`re attracted to yellow You`re bright and full of cheer. But if you prefer a lovely shade of grey You`re pathetic, sad and weird. Grey is my favourite colour That doesn`t mean I`m depressed. It just means i like not deciding sometimes or showing when I`m impressed. It means that sometimes I don`t take sides Or maybe I just don`t care. I don`t always have a strong opinion I never know just what to wear. Sometimes I don`t know what I feel Or if I`m here or there. I can`t always make decisions quick Like how to do my hair. But I do know that I like things in grey And I know I`m not depressed. They say purple's a 'girly' color, but it happens to be my favorite (especially when it's in close proximity to gold)...and like you I don't really care too much about what other people think of my style, with one exception...poetry (and other art)! This is great Heather! A good reminder that the so-called 'experts' who supposedly know so much, sometimes don't know what they are talking about.....they just make it up as they go along!!! I love grey too, and I am far from depressed!!  Denise |
