chickens are a two faced thing
a double-edged blade
on the one hand they can kill you
on the other they can save

a little bit of filth, and
a new sickness we all see
a little bit of chicken broth
just as good as vit'min C

Love is like a chicken
now just wait and you will see
on the one hand it can save you,
or it may kill like it has me

a little bit of homecooked love
will chase all your ills away
but less of tainted love
will send you to the grave

Ok so I sound jaded
perhaps a wee bit trite
but before you all start preaching
.....i'm having soup tonight...

There are enough colours in the world,
To paint your own dreams,
You won't get them,
Till you try.
