Behold the great charalatan!
I will amaze you with my powers,
Performing miracles like they were common.
You will marvel as I reduce all of
Existence, the entire meaning of life,
To a single, simple statement.
You will clap appreciatively
As I shrink God down
To something you can fit in your wallet.
Be amazed by my tricks!
I am the great illusionist,
Bent on showing you the dream.
For a quarter, I will hypnotize you,
Convince you that you are the Pope,
And then excommunicate you from reality.
It's all done with mirrors,
You know, and it's all in teh wrists.
Everything you see is but a charade,
Shadows dancing on walls.
Behold, the mighty doer of parlor tricks!
Step right up, and be made a fool.

"If you can't annoy somebody, there's little point in writing."

I'm glad you all liked the poem...I plan on spinning as many other literary tricks as possible in the future.
