The Rainbow Connection ~*Marge Tindal*~ The colors of the rainbow represent to me the colors of friendship glowing for all to see The arching of the colors boldly displayed the colors of friendship in it's array The red of the heart The blue of the day The yellow of light The green on display The purple of loyalty Our friendship is just that to me Blending into different hues Each of a color so distinctive of you A myriad of reflections of the colors of life Giving off the prism of reflected light A promise glowing in the sky for all to see and realize The pot of gold set at it's end is simply love of a friend ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
