Look at them playing, the small boy and his dog. Running through fields, crossing the stream on a log. You can hear the laughter carrying for miles around, the joy and the love echoing with every sound. They romp in the grass and play catch with a ball. They run and he laughs, the dog leaps and they fall. The small boy and his dog together for all to see, rejoicing in their friendship, no closer friends can there be. Listen to them laughing, this lively little pair, wandering through the days, new experiences to share. They'll be friends for a lifetime, together until the end, the small boy and his dog, the small boy and his friend. An attempt at light-hearted poetry. |

"Attempt"? I'd say you succeeded, childomine! This is great!! Kinda makes me want to go out into a big sunny field and do crazy stuff...lol I liked this a lot! You do a good job with the light stuff (and a lot of other things too). Keep 'em coming! Little Spyro T. Dragon |

Childomine, I sure can relate to this one, having four lifelong friends of my own. Great poem, especially for animal lovers to relate to. Sheila |
