    Lips softly kissing,
Eyes gently probing my soul,
    Arms holding me safe.

    Hands, firm yet gentle,
Leading me to confidence,
    Showing me the way.

    Love pouring over
My heart and soul still broken,
    You teach me to heal.

    Letting me go hurts,
But you taught me to fly free.
    Like eagles, I soar...

    Leaving you behind.
You wave, turning to cry,
    Tears silently fall.

    Caged bars would kill me
Locks and chains bind me till death
    None which would you choose.

    Thankyou for knowing
What I could not say to you
    Giving me a gift...

    Of life, happiness...
Untold you knew the secrets
    Locked within my heart.

    I'll not forget this
Act of kindness, understanding..
    Nor your heart of gold.

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

I really like this piece...lots of strong, heartfelt sentiment and feeling...great read!

Angel, what a wonderful read.  I so enjoyed this piece, especially the last stanza.

Sad and beauiful but also moving.

Words flow heavily,
A carbon copy of my heart,
As well as my soul.
