Love is
A hand held
A thought shared
A simple sweet kiss
A warm embrace
A memory
An inside joke
And a smile

Love is
Brushing off the dirt
And the sting of the words
Defense AND offense
Helping her up
Spending the night in each other's arms
The thought of forever
And a warm, fuzzy feeling

Love is
A tear
A shoulder to share it with
A glimpse of hope
A candle in the darkness
A release from the pain
A show of generosity AND greed
And the rest of our lives

Love is
What you and I share

Can't seem to get out of this type of mood. I guess it's just kind of contagious. The way I've been writing lately, I really need to get a thesaurus!!! NEWAYZ, Hope y'all enjoy!

I love being it in myself. Well written poem, very sweet and inspiring. Love rocks! doesnt it? well I say that now until love hurts me then we'll talk..but for now, good poem>
