I see a signpost At the point where the path diverges. A voice in my head screams "Take the road less traveled!" But I ignore it And follow the wider, Well-worn path like everyone else. The voice rails against me, My very being yearns for the other path, But my feet carry me inexplicably Down my chosen path. The quick, easy way spreads before me, And I wonder what lay down the other road. My mind dances in argument with my body, Trying unsuccessfully to redirect my steps. But nothing can change my destiny now, For my path is chosen. "If you can't annoy somebody, there's little point in writing." --Kingsley Amis |

have always traveled the lesser path myself. A bit bumpy and unpredictable is this road, but, hell, so am I. I liked this work..It brought back memories of my own choices..well written too. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Thanks...I think I was reading a little too much Robert Frost the other day, and this just sorta popped out...I've followed the wrong path a few too many times, and I try to stay on the road less traveled, but it's not always easy.
