Pain of life To common to see, Someone dies A child weeps. Through the cold of deaths touch May warmth find The child loved. Hold the child To your breast Fear and pain Do your best. To comfort the child In loving arms. Keep them safe and warm from harm. Bring out their smile as they play. Help them move from dark days Show the sun will shine again. Love all the while Let faith win. Brighter days will warmly chase all the shadows From their face. Living life is fearing death. Fear not that which always rests. Hold the child close within. Love the child like way back when. Death a tragic shroud to see. Love and life to heal so sweet. Find the flower for the grave. The one that speaks of the life they made See the place where they rest They lived life at its best. Do not morn the loss of life. Remember instead, Of your prize. You’ll go on. To live within The heart and memory of your friends. Kevin "Anything is possible with patience, time is the tool use it to reach your goals." |

Loss can be very sad ........but your piece speaks of hope.....and that is important...don't lose sight of hope. Jon Hope stands before you in many disguises...but be quick or she may slip away. JM |

Kevin, This is one powerful piece about tragic loss and recovery, Being strong for the weak and overcoming obstacles in ones path to live life more fully. WOW! Well Done! The title is misleading though, perhaps it could hint more of the hope you write about. Dennis :^)< !signature--> Moonbeams radiate When the veiling cloud has past Playful shadows dance Dennis L. kelieth; This poem is beautifully written about the cycles of life and death, and the healing process. Lovely poem of hope and life. Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. eL |
