I was in a car accident this weekend..I haven't had time to see what's new in the pub. I promise to catch up on all the great new posts. This one is about my experiences on Saturday.....beth People say that your life flashes before your eyes when its time to go, Radiant lights and tranquillity take over your body’s soul I remember seeing a brightness maybe it was that of the sunlight, glaring his vision of the red; crashing into me without a fight. My head was numb from pain I couldn’t even speak, I couldn't even move a limb; My body was much too weak. The men in blue told me "Look at your car" they said, "I’ve never seen a wreck this bad, "Without the driver being dead." Who was there watching? Who pulled me from the wreck? Why didn’t I go through the windshield? Why didn’t I break my neck? What was that light I saw? Was it really that of the sun’s glare? Perhaps it was an angelic glow, For I knew His angels were there. You can never have too much fiction; reality can be such a bore |

Yes, what's already been said above. The poem is great and has a curious questioning about it I like - I imagine that comes automatically when you experience something traumatic like this - questioning & re-focussing. Well described... [This message has been edited by allan (edited 08-08-2000).] |

So glad you are alright what a terrible plight but from the depths of dispair we find the freshest of air Who would have thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness. |
