Alone inside my silent room With memories on every wall, Where lights cast shadows like the moon, On photographs of lost too soon, It seems I am not here at all. Alone inside my silent room With music lilting in my ears, Where precious songs of love abound, That sway me gently to their sounds, And take me back to yesteryear. Alone inside my silent room With pictures and with melodies, Of those that been and those that be, T'is here that I am almost free, My room with all my memories. |

Rooms are like caves to some they're a haven and safe to some maybe not so......your poem I think reflects both of these qualities well. Jon |
