Thoughts Of The Day

As I sit and wait the time ticks by slowly,
the papers rustel the people ask questions
and chat amonongst themselves.
I sit and ponder overwhat is in store for the other half of the day.

I keep talking to myself to ensure I go to my appointment today .
It is lunch time I'm sure by now.
I'm sure the rest of the day will fly by .
The time will tick away and soon will be done.
Only four hours untill my day is done.
Then time is all mine.

Time - that magical thing! If you want it to go fast - it slows to a crawl. If you want it to crawl - it speeds forward with you holding on wishing for a way to harness and control it. You describe a work day very well.
