Precious Bambi There he was in the yard as beautiful as can be, I elevated the older child up to see the view, then sat her on the counter so I could elevate the younger child and hold him as we just took in the beauty. Not truly where he belonged yet in reality he belonged so much more I do believe as he ate from the fruit of the trees. Something scared him and he pranced away towards the front yard. We ran to the front door sprung it open wide as we see him standing off to the side in all his beauty. At one moment he turned and looked at us and I melted at the sweetness of his freedom. Then he slowly walked to the street and crossed with such grace, and we could see his past wound very evident, knowing humanity took a swipe at him. We went to the picture window and watched him as he wandered lost in a universe that was theirs until progress took it all away. The innocence of the children just reveled in the beauty of this creature so free, yet a prisoner in it's own environment. This creature was a precious Bambi that's at least what the children called him, and who am I to argue with a child. |

A prettier picture can not be found. The heart felt words here are abound. The feeling in my heart is one of simple awe. Great work A sight to cherish for all. ![]() Kevin "Anything is possible with patience, time is the tool use it to reach your goals." |

What a precious moment you have preserved here with your children. A moment you captured with eloquence and beauty, and sadly, truth. ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. eL |

Ria, A thing of beauty you have witnessed and shared with these children, and yes it is sad that this beauty is endangered by mans so called progress and the toughtless society we are a part of. Well written and thought provoking piece. Dennis :^) Moonbeams radiate When the veiling cloud has past Playful shadows dance Dennis L. White :^) |

Hey Lost Dreamer... What a great experience for you and your children... A good touch of contrast in your thoughts... to bad as adults we just can't see the Bambi of childhood. Peace to you and yours. |
