the night unfolds my eyelids
and fog-drenched secrets
of my mind...
i walk through the mist,
a full moon to guide me,
and i lay down my body
in the grass.
staring up to the
star-studded sky,
it engulfs me
and i envision the ocean
as its waves roll in
to touch my dry skin,
to cover me...
then suddenly i awake.
the moon is nodding
to silently whisper,
the night is finished.
in longing i reach out
to catch the last bit
of darkness--
it slips from my hands...
then i notice
the dew
has already fallen
on my face;
now,
i understand
the flowers tears.

A title..., I don't know; maybe, "Night Dew".  Whatever you decide to call it, I love it.

LD: i thought about "a flowers tears" too...! but i felt like it gave away the last line before you even get there..dont think?
