Tuckered Out Sittin' here under my shade tree enjoyin' the breeze an' a smoke. I'm thinkin' bout takin' a nap just a restin' from all my recent restin'. Football watchin' plum wore me out pizza pie eatin' wore me to a frazzle. I'm thinkin bout takin' a nap just a restin' from all my recent restin'. Sunday afternoon feels just like it should tuckered out, count a fussin' an a messin'. I'm thinkin' bout takin’ a nap just a restin' from all my recent restin'. It's been a spell since I broke a sweat if'n I stir, it's generally to settle a bet.. I'm thinkin' bout takin' a nap just a restin' from all my recent restin'. Lazy, old hound dog sleepin' next to me wears me out just a pattin' his head. I'm thinkin' bout takin' a nap maybe after I've a rested a spell.... bleeding... There ya' go, Daniel ... nodding off in mid-sentence ! Love your sense of humor - iffen you're so tuckered out - who laughs for you ? Reminds me of a funny thing my father used to say, "I'm so tuckered - who's gonna shave for me this morning ?" Gosh, you stirred that memory up from too long ago ! Glad to know you've got 'bony fingers'! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
