A crimson moon, there is blood in the air Something has met death The smell of putrid flesh, the scent of despair Demons rising from the depths Leathery wings taking flight To take hold of this skybound soul Clouds open as the acid rain Consumes, lurking like a demon troll Claws aspiring to rip His ascending flesh from immortal bone Taunting cackles in the night Descending to evil's throne But the skybound soul breaks free To leave his torments behind Sreaking toward a light above To paradise sublime Deep within the bowls of earth A demon lord bows down "Sire, we've lost another one To the power of the crown" -Jac Pierre |

Very dark poem, written nicely. This sounds familiar though, have you posted it someone where else also (I do forum hop sometimes!) |

Powerful yet poetic! How did you do it? Wow! I like the fourth stanza, tragic, yet inspiring. *S* If there cannot be equal in affection, then let the one with more be me - midnightblues™ |

No I haven't posted this anywhere else but alot of my work runs along the same theme. I usually post in Teen Poetry #3, but this one seemed a little to dark for that group. I will continue to post here from time to time, but only that which I feel I can't post in my own (TP#3) forum. Jac Pierre |

Tap2, Good work. A bit dark in a romantic since. Nice flow. Kevin "Anything is possible with patience, time is the tool use it to reach your goals." |

I like this one a lot! Very dark, but kind of a happy ending twist at the end. By the way, I think you were smart to post here instead of TP#3. It's mostly love and lost love poetry there... (not always bad, it's just this one is different) Like I said, I'm checking out all of your work right now, and so far, I like it!!!! |

Thank you all for allowing me to post this in here even though it's not my usual forum. Thank you for your kind words. I may post more in here at a later date. -Jac Pierre "I could have missed the pain But I'd of had to miss The Dance" -Garth Brooks- |

Is that a dragon you're describing? Because if it is, Spyro oughta see it. Dragons are supposed to be good! --Chibi |
