Well, everyone, here is yet another one of my poems! -------------------------------- Love, Kindness and Humanity Is not what some see Those unspoken words Those bleeding wounds We are somewhat blind To the reality that we find In Africa, India All of those places Don't be blind to the harshness Of these truths Of the hunger beyond The wanting of love Does God want this? The suffering on the planet this Earth that is His? --No, I think not ------------------------------------------- -Venus Macleod |

Well I think that we brought this upon ourselves. If we can just look past the surface, we can see that we're all the same. ~~My soul lives in love, walks with serenity, writhes in hatred, and dies in violence.~~ Myself |

for some, turning a blind eye to the horrors of the world is the only way they can cope with it. the rest of us who cannot turn away can only look helplessly on and our souls grieve at man's injustice to man. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
