Well...uh...here's another one for Spyro...hope he likes it... ____________________________________________ She raises her face to the sun, The darkness she will shun The child looks on, his battle with disease won His face is the first she sees, His hair flowing in the breeze He stares at Nature's wonder, A rose, not a blunder A rose looked back, his beauty not a lack Time goes by and the boy wonders why The rose is not red It's bud seemingly not fed He holds the rose in his palm, and hears the wind's funeral psalm "Oh well," he says "There's always Spring, spring always has something to bring. --He sits and waits for the roses _________________________________ "Roses are red, violets are blue..." --Venus [This message has been edited by a_little_girl (edited 07-01-2000).] |

Such a dignified boy..he has been tortured by disease and yet he remains hopeful and bright-eyed about the future.... this one i liked but i am confused about "she"---does "she" refer to the rose itself? |
