(With thanks to Ellie- for the idea) I am a joke for all to see, And truly green, with my envy. I just sit around here at my pad, Feeling down,---and feeling had! I don't ask much--just a kiss or two, So I can show my feelings true. But all the gals think I'm such a joke, They wouldn't care e'en if I croaked! But I know deep inside of me, They're missing my true personality. "Oh what charm!" their discovery, If they'd just get beyond what they see! I am a Prince all dreassed in Green, Why do they have to be so mean? If they'd only give me a chance, I'd show them what is true Romance! I'd even settle to be a "Kermie" Though to me, he seems quite squirmy. I'd be adored, even though quite sickly, And be loved to death by old Miss Piggy. Why can't Fairy Tales come true? 'Twould be so great- if they just do! But since they don't- So much I've missed, Thus I stay the Frog, who didn't get kissed! [This message has been edited by deleeme (edited 06-27-2000).] |
