Reminiscing at the "Nineteenth Hole",
The foursome sip their brew,
Relating their fairway stories,
How some shots went askew.

Paul recalled the third hole,
A great putt put him under par,
On the ninth Bill got a "Hole-in-one",
It was his first so far!

Bob complained about the rough,
He hit on hole fourteen,
He took an extra penalty stroke,
To get back on the green.

Frank had the low score running,
Up to the seventeenth still,
But his game became a disaster,
He couldn't get through the windmill.

........................................

A special thanks to my wife Nancy, who suggested
this story line.

Dennis; Great fun read, LOL! I really enjoyed this one. Great suggestion from Nancy. You have a terrific sense of humour!

Great job Dennis, if it isn't that darn windmill, it's those little water holes.  Loved this.  Bonnie

Kaile,
This golf tale by design was meant to draw in serious golfers, only for them to realize in the last line this poem was about minature golf( an insult to most serious golfers), by reference to the windmill, frequently found on minature golf courses.
I hope this answers your question.
