love
is appealling--
addicting.
as it brushes past
i reach for it
with little thought
of consequence--
just missing...
i feel it in my bones--
having no where
to place it
it gnaws at me,
aching to find itself
entwined...
i daydream
of its presence
wishing it to come--
but love rarely comes by here,
and when it does
my friend, fear
pushes it out...

Enjoyable.  The tale is familiar. Hopefully we'll overcome.

fear pushes it out...how true but when fear is overcome love is wonderful. Here's to overcoming.

Excellent dg.  Fear keeps us from experiencing so many things.

It's scary, isn't it?  But you don't get great joy without the risk of great pain.  I think the risk is worth it.

To love another person is to see the face of God.
