We watch the tides come in,we watch the tides go out. We never notice the tint of crimson as it retraces it's watery route. We don't see the blood that stains the waves, the death that rules the ground. Sometimes we don't even notice the destruction to which the world is bound. We trampled the earth under foot, pour our industrial slime into the dirt. What if someone did that to you??¿ Would it hurt??¿ We suffocate the air with chemicals & fumes. We weave a tangled web on dirty, rotten looms. The trees are dying, the oceans cough & sputter with death rattle storms. A whirl wind of destruction envelopes the entire earth's form. But someday it must end & we hope a new life will begin........ And there she weaves by night and day, a magic web of colours gay.~Tennyson |

Now, here's a powerful message to the powerful waste producers... Wow!!! I only hope fellow dragons get the message and don't contribute to the pollution problem that Earth is struggling with... Well, we have wings, so we don't really need cars...and we breathe fire, so we don't really need gas to heat our meals! ![]() ![]() Powerful poetry, Swamp! And great as always ![]() Little Spyro T. Swampie This is powerful stuff here,oh to turn back the hands of time. We can only protest in words and hope someone is listening. A voice in the wilderness, who knows. Keep writing Jon |

An ongoing saga Swamp. We continue to suck the life out of mother earth like greedy, selfish children. Not caring that future generations will have nothing left of her to be nurtured with. One day she will give out and my heart breaks at the thought of it. ...Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is.... Black Eagle Oglala Sioux holy man |

I agree very powerful poem here, and how sad the damage humanity does to nature. |
