Wisdom... What is it? And how did I get it, of all people? Well, I'm not too sure what wisdom may be And my future with it, I cannot see, Could I be a really good kid? Hard to believe! My talents I hid For quite a while, until finally I found a place here that I thought was for me... One thing I've learned from the people here And this I've found to be proven true; I couldn't possess this wisdom sincere If it weren't for posts from all of you... Wisdom's only the spark inside That flares and inspires, if others confide In the work you put out, the words that you write-- (Even if you post in the middle of the night!  )Wisdom is bits and pieces from all Who share their knowledge and answer their call. Wisdom is not something that's held alone-- Everyone contributes, and that's how it's grown. So all of the stuff that you think I've got Isn't all me, in fact, a whole lot of it is from you, all out there, Helping me type in my little lair! And you, dg, your poems are great!  Even though I read them a little bit late, They're very inspiring and I'm admiring The way you put people in a certain state After you read the poem... Some say I've great wisdom for my size. But I'm not the only one--no surprise! You've got more than you think, dg... I only hope you got some from me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Now, I was a well-favored child, and I came by a noble nature; And knowing that I could not otherwise possess wisdom, except God gave it." oh little spyro..my wise little friend..i do love to hear from you its true--wisdom may come from those you know, talk to, listen to, read from....etc.. but you my friend, have wisdom--no matter how you came by it i was once the "wise one"--in my own little space of the world..people came to me for answers i could not have known on my own..i did not possess the "experience" to have such knowledge--but i had it..and i gave it to those who would listen.. "Wisdom... What is it? And how did I get it, of all people?" i know...i used to ask that too.... we all have our time..your time is now waller in it!..enjoy it to its fullest..for tomorrow you may be the one with the very same questions you once answered for others.....time is uncertain--as is tomorrow..but today--ah..today is yours my friend hugs to you, dg "A Poet's life is on written page; a scenario to take the stage--watch..." dgvarner |

Yeah, my time is now...I suppose I should milk it for all it's worth! And no, you're not taking up space...at least, I don't think you are...hmm...lol I 'hid my talents' for a couple years mostly because I was too...well, I'm not really sure what specific emotion it was that made me hide all that I did, but it happened...I guess you could call it being ashamed of what I could do, but I was proud of my work! Oh well, the important thing is that I'm showing it now And I'll continue to do so until my time runs out, hopefully that won't be sometime soon! Thanks for the food for thought, Little Spyro T. Oh, I forgot to tell you! The King James doesn't have a book of Wisdom...it's missing a lot of the ones that the regular Catholic edition does... I've got a couple King Jameses too, and I think there are something like 14 books less... There are a LOT of good quotes and stuff in the Bible! -L.S. |

Same wonderful God found in ALL churches, the Living God. Continue to use your wonderful gift to edify Him, in all ways.
