Fearful dream... |

Darkness swirls around and consumes me and a paralyzing fear holds me. The dream reveals to me my worst fear. I struggle to awaken but the dream has complete and utter control. It keeps me suspended in my boiling emotions of: Fear, Hate, and Anger, and a nearly choking sorrow. Finally the dream releases it's tortuos hold. I wake up to find myself crying and as I concentrate the images flash back to me. I pray then... I pray that this dream doesn't come true.. |

Oh, this is sad. Sometimes talking about your dreams to someone helps. Close family member had the same re-occurring nighmares, through the tears and head in hands crying finally got the dreaded dream spoken, diserned and peace came. He was only ten. I hope your bad dreams go away!! Marcy |

wow.. amazing writing! ^_^ yeah, dreams like that are.. well, they are dreams like that, lol! ^_^ I think the only nightmare I have really had, was a while ago, when i had the most horrifying, repetitive nightmare.. I could never remember it when i woke, but I used to sleep talk, and sleep walk because of it, and live it for a while after I had woken.. hehe, at least u can draw a line between dreaming and reality, eh? well done.. There's a state of suspension between sleeping and waking that's wierd,it's kind of thrilling and frightening at the same time. I've been there it felt like this poem to me. nice Jon |
