If I was a Chimpanzee We’d swing about from tree to tree And as we romped in our pyjama’s I’d give you all the best bananas If I was a Dolphin Blue I’d always want to swim with you We’d duck and dive the billowy waves I’d show you all my favourite caves If I was a bird on high We’d float about the big blue sky I’d take you underneath my wing ‘I do love you ‘ I’d softly sing If I was the moon above I’d shower you with stars of love And that black hole to keep you from it We’d hitch a ride on Haley’s Comet If I was a birthday cake Think of all the fun we’d make Don’t you think it would be nice To just sit down and eat a slice If I was a fine red wine I’d let you drink me when you dine I’d get about in your sweet head And topsy turvy we’d go to bed This would be fun....don't you agree But unfortunately I'm only Me Jon Mewett A sort of N.R for grown ups or nearly grown ups.
