I've got the croup
Or should I say
The croup's
Got me
I'm hacking
And a coughing
A real picture
Of misery

My head
Is a throbbing
And one second
I am shivering
The next one
I am hot
Too tired
To look for the thermometer
To sick
To even care

Just wish
I could breath
A little fresh air
Without
Erupting
Into a fit
Of sneezing

If this little
Poem
Is aggravating
Or more than
Irritating

Then you will just have to excuse me
Because misery loves company

Just stand back
Before I sneeze, please...

Awwwwwwww--sounds like you need a big fat pillow, tons of kleenex, and some real good knock you flat out medicine. Hope you feel better real soon!!!

Lol....humans have cures for all sorts of weird and wonderful illnesses but the common cold and the flu cures still elude us!

Thanks for the well wishes, hope you don't get this bug it is a hum-dinger. I could write another poem about its double whammy but I've got to go lie back down.
